The seahorse (Hippocampus taeniopterus) is found in the tropical marine waters of America as well as the Mediterranean Sea and the Bahamas, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, and Australia. Australian spirit animals are found in Darwin, Northern Territory and northern to southern Queensland.
Seahorse Spiritual Meaning
Seahorse symbolism is both males and females are able to see both sides of the coin at the same time. Physically and mentally the seahorse has the unique ability to adapt to its surroundings, changing colour to suit its environment. Usually the colour of the reeds or mangroves they feed in.
