Stress relief meditation. Find a comfortable, quiet location inside or out. Be sure not have to any distractions. Turn off all electronic devices. Lie or sit depending on what personally makes you comfortable. The morning, before you start your day, is the best time for a regular meditation routine.

Stress Relief Meditation

Breathe in deeply through the nose and exhale out the mouth. Mentally count one. Repeat this process counting each time you exhale until you reach the count of seven. Repeat this step until you reach seven groups of seven equaling forty-nine. This will help you focus on your breathing and keep the mind busy so it cannot stray. While counting,

in the background of your mind, imagine a leaf falling to the ground from an enormous tree.  By the time you reach the end of your count, the leaf will have reached the ground. This meditation exercise will melt any problems away. Completing this and being able to reach forty-nine breath counts before you are distracted by your own thoughts, will ready you for the next step.

Return to regular breathing. At this point, you should not be thinking anything at all. If you are, you are simply not meditating. Think of the ocean, a set of waves representing your thoughts one after the other they come rolling in.

We want to reside in between the waves where all is calm and silent. Try to remain in this silence for as long as possible, of no thought. Longer periods of Meditation will be achievable with practice. Repeat to clear the mind if you’re having trouble.

Meditation Technique

When a state of meditation is reached accessing our higher consciousness is achieved. In turn our natural self-healing process will take place. Our personal goals and construction of the meditation determine the outcome.

This exercise was designed to introduce one to a correct state of meditation, in doing this you are opening a stress relief valve for anxiety and exhaustion to be released, simply by calming the mind.

Remember what you are thinking in the background while you do other things must be positive. Positive self-chatter. If you are talking negatively to yourself then negativity will be sure to find a return.

Burnout, anxiety, and depression may all be treated in this way. If a point of stress is reached, then we must return to our calm state. Continuing with stress is a formula for self-destruction and you will not be able to achieve anything. Meditation returns us to a place where intuition, calmness, and love reside. © by psychic medium Ian Scott
