An important thing to do when purchasing a new home or even moving into a new for you rental. Are clearing negative energies from a home and adding a layer of psychic protection around the house.
This ensures no left-over emotional residue from workers or previous owners slash renters. As if you have children involved, they will pick up on such vibrations. Resulting in the child or adult for that matter feeling unsettled and moody.
Home Entrance Holy Basil
Holy Basil boundary barrier. To remove unwanted residue energy and add protection to the entrances of your home. Warding off bad spirits or people from entering the home.
Boil in a pot of water 3 cups of fresh holy basil leaves and stems for around 10 min. Strain the liquid and place in a spray bottle. Spray any steps leading to an entrance door and directly in front of the door.
Other ways to protect your front entrance; Hanging a rowan tree wreath above the front door. Sometimes called European mountain Ash. (Australian familiar: Paperbark tree). This particular tree has immensely strong protective energy.
Planting a garden of peony or marigold flowers to left and right of the entrance. Enhances the vibrations entering the home and also adds a layer of protection from humans or otherwise.
White Sage: Cleanse and Protect
White sage is the traditional way of cleansing the inside of a home and should be used straight away. Before any furniture or belongings are placed in the home. A more detailed use of white sage may be found here.
Be methodic when burning white sage. Start inside the cupboards and wardrobes. Wave and smoke each corner of the house and every corner of every room and finish by walking out the front door. Leaving for at least an hour before re-entering.
Herb garden: Enhance Vibrational Flow
A small herb garden significantly aids in keeping the home cleansed and protected. Helping to ward off mischievous spirits and cranky people. Growing and caring for these plants is a giant part of their magic working for you.
Some herbs to plant and try are garlic, coriander, holy basil, anise, sage and fennel. As an added extra place small pieces of citrine and clear quartz crystal at the bottom of the roots when planting.
Sea Salt: Emotional Energy Removal
If your home is experiencing aggression, anger and emotional turmoil of any kind. Caused by humans or unwanted ghosts. This residual energy which is left over from such an event may be removed and cleansed. As to not further upset the occupants of the house.
