The White Ibis is a native Australian bird (Threskiornis molucca). A wetland bird has been pushed into urban areas due to habitat deterioration. Often referred to as the bin chicken in Australia. In a loving way of course. But it is demeaning and disrespectful to a glorious unique water bird. Much like the Aboriginal people it has been driven from its home and disrespected.
